V. Vasudevudu, a ward member, today issued a press statement clarifying the allegations surrounding his land in the Uravakonda village limits. He alleged that some individuals have been demanding that he hand over the land or pay them money.

* Land Details: Vasudevudu stated that he owns a piece of land in Uravakonda village under Survey Number (Sy. No.) 606 A, with the registered document number being 1497/2019.
* Court Case: A case, W. P. No: 27430/2021, was filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court regarding the boundaries and measurements of this property.
* Official Survey: Vasudevudu clarified that the Mandal Surveyor officially surveyed his land, prepared a sketch, and demarcated the boundaries.
* Request to Panchayat: Since there is an open site to the north of his property, he applied to the Panchayat Secretary on 25-09-2025 requesting the boundaries to be marked to prevent any future disputes between his land and the Panchayat's land.
* Construction of Compound: He asserted that they built the compound wall only after the Panchayat Secretary officially demarcated the boundaries.

Vasudevudu explained that while his land is in Sy. No. 606 A, the Panchayat's land is located in Sy. No. 605. This Panchayat land measures 0.29 cents and includes a temple, Anganwadi centre, and other Panchayat property.

Vasudevudu made serious allegations, claiming that some individuals, using the pretext that his land is under dispute, have been demanding either land or money from him for the past month.
