Speaking at the event, Minister Keshav emphasized the state government's commitment to the welfare of teachers. He assured the gathering that despite various financial challenges, the government is taking measures to ensure salaries are credited on the 1st of every month. He further promised that pending issues related to the teaching community would be addressed and resolved at the earliest.

APTF Submits Key Demands

During the program, APTF state leaders brought several pressing concerns to the Minister's attention. Their primary demands included:

  100-Day Plan Adjustment: Exempting public holidays and Sundays from the 100-day special action plan implemented for Class 10 students.

 12th PRC Implementation: Immediate implementation of the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC) recommendations.

  Clearance of Dues: Urgent release of pending financial bills and Earned Leave (EL) encashments that have been stuck for the past two years.

The event saw participation from high-ranking APTF officials and local leaders, including:

  State Representatives: State Secretary Shauri Panthireddy, State Vice-President Konanthi Ashok Kumar, and Journal Editor K. Naresh Kumar.
