SR educational academy Violation of Educational Norms: Pre-Academic Year Admissions Spree - RIO's Silence questioned

Anantapur :With approximately seven months remaining until the commencement of the new academic year 2026-27, the premature launch of aggressive admission campaigns by prominent private educational institutions in Anantapur District Centre is being viewed as a serious violation of educational department rules. The deliberate silence maintained by the Regional Inspection Officer (RIO) and other senior education officials on this matter is raising several suspicions.

Pre-Admission Process is Against Regulations

According to government regulations, admissions, including those for Intermediate education and the high school level, must only proceed as per a fixed schedule, following the official release of the Admission Process Notification by the Education Department. Contrary to this norm:

SR Educational Academy has issued public advertisements announcing that admissions for the 2026-27 academic year are "OPEN" across its four main campuses (Boys & Girls Junior Colleges, Prime AC Campus, and Prime High School).

By promoting and collecting advance admission fees before the official schedule, these institutions exert undue pressure on parents and limit students' options to apply to other institutions.

The rush clearly indicates premature admissions for Intermediate courses like MPC, BiPC, and CEC.

Academicians Angered by Officials' Attitude

As per educational regulations, campaigning for admissions and initiating enrollment before the official schedule is considered unethical and legally incorrect. The authority to take action against such violations falls under the jurisdiction of the Regional Inspection Officer (RIO).

Despite the public evidence of educational norms being violated, educationalists and parents' associations are severely criticizing the RIO and other District Education Officials for acting as if they are "unconcerned" or "indifferent" (the Telugu phrase 'nimmaaku neerettinattu').

They allege that this silence is tantamount to indirectly permitting and encouraging private institutions to flout regulations.

Demand for Immediate Declaration of Schedule

The rush created by the early admission campaigns of certain educational institutions is causing confusion among students and parents, leaving them bewildered about which college to join or when to apply for admissions.

Parents' associations and education rights organizations have demanded that the RIO immediately intervene, take strict action against SR Educational Academy for violating the rules, and promptly announce the official schedule for the 2026-27 Intermediate admissions to safeguard the interests of the students.
