State Human Rights Vice President Saubhagya Sriram praised "Mana Janapragathi" newspaper as a true champion of the people, noting its fearlessness in exposing social injustices and presenting the unvarnished truth. During an event held on Wednesday in Uravakonda, she officially inaugurated the "Mana Janapragathi" New Year calendar.

  Fearless Journalism: Saubhagya Sriram stated that the publication serves as a model for investigative journalism by highlighting grassroots issues and maintaining an uncompromising stance in its reportage.

 Journalism as a 'Crown of Thorns': She opined that journalism is not merely a profession but a sacred responsibility, often resembling a "crown of thorns" due to its challenging nature.

 Resilience Against Threats: Kamma Sangham President Daggupati Sriram emphasized that journalists should not retreat in the face of threats or attacks. He remarked that society will always respect those who work dedicatedly for the public good.

  Demand for Journalists' Welfare: Meenuga Madhubabu, District General Secretary of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, demanded that the government take special measures for the welfare of journalists, including ensuring the payment of proper salaries.
