Kuwait City,: Tenants and investors at one of Kuwait’s oldest commercial centers, Souq Sharq, have been issued notices to vacate the premises by January 31.
The Wafra Real Estate Company, which manages the property, delivered the notices following a directive from the Ministry of Finance.
However, the fish market inside Souq Sharq has been excluded from the evacuation order.
According to reports from the Al-Rai newspaper, the directive applies only to other commercial establishments operating within the complex.
