Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Jayanti: 'Veeranari' Seminar in Anantapur

 


Anantapur, November 15:

On the occasion of the Vasanthotsavam (Spring Festival) for the birth anniversary of Jhansi Lakshmi Bai, the Anantapur District Unit of the Andhra Vidyarthi Sangham (AVS) successfully organized a special seminar titled "Veeranari" (Brave Woman) today (November 15, 2025) at the S.R. (Girls) Junior College in the city.

 Keynote Speeches

The chief guests for the program were Ms. Padmaja (Supreme Court Advocate, Anantapur) and Dr. Brunda (Coordinator, Women Empowerment Department, Arts College, Anantapur).

Addressing the audience, the chief guests emphasized:

 "Jhansi Lakshmi Bai's courage, valor, and her fight for independence have served as a great inspiration to India. Every female student should take inspiration from the bravery and adventurous spirit of that courageous woman.


They explained this eloquently to all the students.

 Participants in the Program

Leaders of the Andhra Vidyarthi Sangham (AVS) actively participated in the seminar. This included Ravindra (AVS State Council Member), Valmiki Vamshi (AVS Anantapur District President), Wasim Khan (AVS Anantapur District Secretary), and AVS leaders Kumar, Mohammed, among others. The program was highly inspiring for the students
