Book Exhibition Highlights 58th National Library Week in Uravakonda :Y. Prathap Reddy


 


The Uravakonda Branch Library marked the 58th National Library Week celebration with a special book exhibition held on Saturday. The event aimed to emphasize the importance of reading and was organized under the guidance of Library Officer Y. Pratap Reddy.

The exhibition was inaugurated with the motivational message, "Wear a torn shirt, but buy a good book," reinforcing the value and necessity of books. Library Officer Y. Pratap Reddy addressed the gathering, stating that "A book is a good friend" and encouraged students to cultivate reading habits from a young age.

He further elaborated on the profound significance of books, describing them as:

 An incredible medium for passing on the history of today to future generations.

  A tool that dispels ignorance and lights the lamp of knowledge to guide us forward.

  Poetry and Short Story collections.

The program saw participation from students and teachers, including Headmaster Shyam, along with library patrons and general public members.
