Kanakadasu Idol to Be Anointed with Vedavathi and Krishna River Water
MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu sponsors the event; Kuruba community urges everyone to participate
Kalyandurg | November 6: The idol of Saint Kanakadasu, the revered deity of the Kuruba community, will be anointed with the sacred waters of the Vedavathi and Krishna rivers. The ceremony is being organized with the personal funds of Kalyandurg MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu.
In view of the upcoming Kanakadasu Idol Inauguration Ceremony, elaborate arrangements are being made as State IT & Education Minister Nara Lokesh is scheduled to attend the program. As part of the rituals, special abhishekam with the sacred waters of the Vedavathi and Krishna rivers will be performed.
“This evening, MLA Amilineni Surendra Babu, along with party leaders, workers, and members of the Kuruba community, will perform the abhishekam to the Kanakadasu idol,” said Kuruba Sangham leaders.
The event will begin with a procession from the Prajavedika to the Kanakadasu Circle, followed by the abhishekam ceremony. Kuruba Sangham leaders have appealed to party members, activists, and devotees across the Kalyandurg constituency to participate in large numbers.
