Current Gopal, an ardent patriot known locally by his nickname, has requested an opportunity to pay tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs before the Guntakal Divisional Police Officer.
Known officially as Ukkisula Gopal, he is widely recognized as "Current Gopal"—a moniker earned through his dedicated service. Professionally, Mr. Gopal is a Senior Electrician at the Gram Panchayat, where he has earned the respect of all with his devoted and transparent work ethic.
Beyond his profession, a deep sense of patriotism permeates his every action. He possesses an intimate knowledge of the histories of national and state leaders who sacrificed their lives for the country and its independence. On their birth anniversaries, he regularly educates students and the public, fostering a sense of national pride.
In line with this dedication, he eagerly sought an opportunity to laud the services of the police force on Police Commemoration Day. Consequently, he met with Guntakal Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Srinivasulu on Monday, specifically asking for "just one chance" to honour the police services.
Responding to the request, DSP Srinivasulu felicitated Mr. Gopal with a shawl, praised his patriotic spirit, and granted him the chance to speak about the police martyrs and their service. The Senior Electrician, Gopal, was reportedly overjoyed by this opportunity.
