Andhra Pradesh Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer on Wednesday issued orders appointing new Vice-Chancellors for five state universities.
According to the official notification, Dr. Venkata Satyanarayana Raju Samantapudi has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University, while Prof. Tata Narasinga Rao will take charge as the Vice-Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University.
Dr. B. Jayarama Reddy has been named the Vice-Chancellor of YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University, and Dr. V. Venkata Subba Rao has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of JNTU, Vizianagaram.
Similarly, Dr. Rajasekhar Bellamkonda has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa.
These appointments are expected to bring renewed focus on academic excellence, research, and institutional development across the state’s higher education sector. The Governor, in his capacity as Chancellor of state universities, finalized the appointments after careful evaluation of recommendations from the respective search committees.
