A barber shop in Raketla village, Uravakonda mandal, was completely destroyed in a sudden midnight fire. The shop owner, Babu, reported that the incident caused him a loss of approximately ₹50,000.
Fire in the Heart of the Village Spreads Anxiety
Babu was running his barber shop near the Bodrai (the central village landmark) in the main part of Raketla village to sustain his livelihood. The total destruction of his shop late at night has left him deeply distraught.
"I have no enmity with anyone. The fact that my shop burned down like this in the middle of the night has severely impacted my livelihood," lamented Babu, visibly in distress.
The occurrence of such a fire in the middle of the village has caused anxiety and fear among several villagers, leading to speculation that the incident may be linked to potential disputes or foul play.
Injustice to a Good Man: Farmers Express Grief
Local farmers who spoke about Babu expressed strong condemnation, stating, "It is an atrocity that this happened to Babu, a person who wouldn't harm even an ant."
