NS Teacher Accused of Indecent Behavior with Students; Parents Demand Immediate Termination

Uravakonda : Complaint Filed Against Teacher in ZP High School, Venkatampalli

Parents of students and villagers submitted a petition to the in-charge Headmaster of the Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS) in Venkatampalli village, Vajrakarur Mandal, on Tuesday, demanding the immediate dismissal of an NS (Natural Science/National Service Scheme) subject teacher who allegedly engaged in indecent acts (sexual misconduct) with female students.

 Parents and Villagers Outraged

The parents and villagers expressed deep anger, stating that the NS teacher was harassing the girl students with perverted actions and deriving a sadistic pleasure from it. The incident reportedly came to light recently.

The parents and locals alleged that the Headmaster, along with the NS teacher, attempted to suppress the matter. The Headmaster reportedly pleaded with the parents to forgive the teacher. It was also stated that the teacher had committed similar acts in the past, and these actions are recurring before the previous incidents could be forgotten.

Teacher Returned to Duty After Leave

The teacher in question reportedly took a medical leave on Friday and was absent from duty. However, upon his return to school on Tuesday, the agitated parents and villagers submitted a written complaint to the in-charge HM protesting his conduct towards the students.

Appeal to District Authorities

The parents and public stated that it is inappropriate for teachers, who are supposed to impart education, to stray from the path. They expressed concern that due to the poor performance and behavior of teachers, some girls are dropping out of school, leading to a loss of faith in teachers among parents.

They have also lodged a complaint with the District Education Commissioner and the District Collector. The parents and villagers insisted that the district officials must respond immediately, conduct a thorough investigation, take strict action against the responsible teacher, and terminate him from service.
