Kadapa: The brutal murder of a girl student in Khajipet of Kadapa district has sparked outrage across the state. District in-charge Minister Savitha expressed deep shock over the incident.She condemned the act, stating that it was extremely heinous for the accused to go to the victim’s house under the pretext of marriage and slit her throat. The minister assured that strict action would be taken against the Srinivas.Warning against such crimes, she said that violence against women and girls will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The government will stand firmly with the victim’s family and provide all necessary support, she added.The minister also stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted and steps will be taken to ensure the accused receives the maximum punishment.
