Secures Top Positions in Three Events, Felicitated by School
Brahmasamudram : Jaganmohan Reddy, a Physical Education Teacher (PET) from Pillalapalli village in Brahmasamudram mandal, showcased outstanding performance at the state-level athletics meet, bringing pride to the region.
The state-level SAP Athletics competitions were held on March 30 and 31 at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur. Demonstrating exceptional athletic skills, Jaganmohan Reddy secured first place in the discus throw event. He also clinched second place in the long jump and was part of the team that secured second place in the 4x100 meters relay event.
In recognition of his achievements, a felicitation ceremony was organized on Saturday at the Zilla Parishad High School in the mandal. The event was attended by Headmaster Basavaraju and Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) Obulapathi, who congratulated Jaganmohan Reddy and honored him with a shawl.
Speaking on the occasion, the officials appreciated his dedication and hard work, stating that his achievements would serve as an inspiration to students, especially those from rural areas. They emphasized the importance of encouraging sports alongside academics and noted that with proper support, such talents can achieve greater success at national and international levels.
Jaganmohan Reddy, while expressing his gratitude, credited his success to the encouragement and support from the school management and his colleagues. He stated that he aims to continue working hard and represent at higher levels in the future.
