Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government is taking steps to improve the efficiency of handling legal matters and reduce the burden of pending court cases. A Group of Ministers (GoM) meeting, held at Secretariat Block-2 under the leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, focused on key legal and administrative issues.
Health Minister Satya Kumar Y participated in the meeting, where discussions were held on pending court cases, effective legal management, and ensuring timely disposal of cases. The meeting emphasized the need for better coordination among departments to handle litigation more efficiently.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Satya Kumar Y highlighted the importance of transparency and efficiency in government functioning. He stressed that strengthening the state’s litigation policy is crucial to ensure timely justice and reduce unnecessary legal complications.
The minister also pointed out that proper planning and adherence to timelines can significantly reduce the backlog of cases involving the government. Improving inter-departmental coordination and adopting a proactive legal approach were identified as key steps toward achieving this goal.
