BJP’s “Mana Ooru – Mana Jhanda” Programme Held in Uravakonda

 
Drive to Identify Sites for Flag Installation; Focus on Grassroots Outreach

Anantapur, March 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised the “Mana Ooru – Mana Jhanda” programme in Uravakonda town of Anantapur district on Saturday. As part of the initiative, party leaders undertook a drive to identify suitable locations for the installation of BJP flags across villages in the constituency.

Leaders stated that the primary objective of the programme is to hoist the party flag in every village and create awareness among the public about various Central government welfare schemes.

Anantapur district Mahila Morcha president and district co-convener of the programme, Daggubati Saubhagya, participated in the event. Addressing party workers, she called for greater participation of women in political activities at the grassroots level. She said efforts are being made to ensure that the benefits of Central government schemes reach every household.

Uravakonda constituency co-convener K. Ramanjaneyulu said that steps are being taken to install BJP flags in all villages. He added that the programme aims to take the party’s ideology closer to the people and energise the cadre at the grassroots level.

Mandal president Dhanunjaya Acharya stated that suitable locations at prominent junctions in villages are being identified for flag installation. Former mandal president Malapati Hari, Daggupati Sriramulu, Velugonda Siddappa, Besta Ramanjaneyulu, along with other party leaders and workers, took part in the programme.

During the event, party workers visited different areas, interacted with local residents, and explained the benefits of various government schemes. Leaders expressed confidence that the initiative would strengthen the party at the village level.
